Kotatsu or kotatsu table is a traditional Japanese table used in both Japanese homes and restaurants. The kotatsu is the most extensively used piece of furniture in a Japanese home. The kotatsu table is also considered the emotional center of the home for family and friends gather around its welcoming warmth. Our kotatsu features a heater in the center and the removable reversible top is placed over a futon or comforter to contain the heat.
Made in Japan, our kotatsu features a reversible kotatsu tabletop (dark gray and light gray) with a wooden frame construction, durable black resin legs. Includes the electric heater! The electric heater of the kotatsu features a dial gauge thermostat with 3 settings and a protective grille. Measures 29 1/2" square and 14" in height.
